Digital Media (Graphic Design) Program

Gian Carlo Roxas is a UI/UX Designer and Project Manager who graduated in 2024.

I started my professional journey as an IT Project Manager at DXC Technology after earning a BS in Information Systems from De La Salle University-Manila. My first role in UI/UX design was at Beehive Technology, where I contributed to the design and co-management of a Risk Management solution for major organizations across Southeast Asia. My transition stemmed from a desire to apply my creativity, research, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to help organizations deliver and enhance user experiences. I am committed to continuous learning and growth, aiming to leverage my technical expertise and creative background to design intuitive and marketable apps and websites. To fuel my creativity and boost productivity, I love diving into new experiences and activities. Whether it’s dancing, hiking, boxing, wall climbing, or anything in between, I’m all in!

Adam Phillips, a career consultant, helps master’s degree graduates navigate their job search both locally and internationally. I designed and developed a WordPress website for his business that would serve as a central hub for his content. The website needed to integrate with his existing Beehiiv newsletter platform, allowing for seamless distribution of articles and easy subscription sign-ups.

KindLink is designed to create a safe and inspiring community for volunteers, connecting them with opportunities that match their location, skills, and preferences. For this project, I led a team of designers to identify the pain points of both existing and prospective volunteers seeking opportunities within Canada.
