Alejandra Rodriguez is a Graphic and Editorial Designer who graduated in 2023.

I am a Colombian designer based in Vancouver, blending the best of visual arts and graphic design to create pieces that are functional, effective, and visually captivating. With five years of experience as a content creator and digital marketing specialist, I craft deeply resonating pieces by combining images and words to amplify messages that inspire, dissuade, or evoke emotion.

Granville Island Brewing aims to rekindle the joy of socializing with the launch of its latest summer beer edition, Eclectic, a beer inspired by the vibrant colors, diverse faces, and rich cultures of Vancouver. As the city recovers from the pandemic, the brewery seeks to design a vibrant and playful label that captures the essence of summer, offering a fresh and unique appeal. Eclectic embodies the distinctive qualities that set us apart and the common threads that unite us. With its geometric shapes and wavy lines, it evokes the essence of Vancouver, a city celebrated for its harmonious blend of urban life and coastal beauty.

One in five people face mental health challenges each year, reminding us that there’s no health without mental health. Despite this, many struggle to access the support they need. The pandemic underscored the importance of prioritizing mental well-being, and while we talk about “returning to normal,” many still grapple with emotional fatigue. Mutant Mind is a project designed to break down stereotypes and taboos around mental health, embracing the idea that normality is fluid and humans are complex. It encourages people to move beyond the pressure of being “normal” and embrace their uniqueness as “mutants.” Let’s shatter the stigma and open up conversations around mental health.
